And at the beginning of each show, they ask the audience: If anyone doesn't have post-traumatic stress disorder, please raise their hands! "You don't have to be ashamed, we just want to know how you did it? How is it that you can sleep at night? Hasn't one of your friends been murdered or become a murderer themselves?" There is always laughter, says Etgar Keret. But not that many hands went up.
